Overview
Saved items option allows users to save any screen they frequently use and access it in one click. It supports saving of records, lists, calendar, analytics previews, maps and mobile web screens.
The saved items tab is delivered by default for the Agent client, but admins need to add the saved items launcher screen to the navigation bar in Now application. We recommend that Admins place the tab as one of the 4 visible tabs to allow user access their saved items easily.
When users save a list or a map, the filtered values are saved as well. This allows Mobile app users to get a filtered list without the need to redo the filter criteria. This productivity enhancement allows app owners to deliver non-filtered lists (such as ‘All incidents’) where each user can filter the list with the values relevant for him/her and save it in saved items (‘My incidents’, ‘My team critical incidents’ etc...).
Admins who wish to block certain screens from being saved into the user saved items because of data sensitivity (this does not replace the ACL option), can do so using a deny list supported for this feature.
In offline mode, users can navigate to their saved items only if they were downloaded to their mobile device and the downloaded screen is supported in offline.
