Configuring views
When building an application, you can set persona-specific views of lists and forms. Use these views to customize column and field visibility, formatting rules, and filters. Users with the right permissions can set their own configurations for lists and forms.
Creating responsive dashboards
To tell a story about data in your instance, administrators can create responsive dashboards. These dashboards can be configured for individual users, groups of users, or be provided instance-wide.
Creating landing pages
Available if Next Experience is enabled on your instance
Landing pages present your users with a starting point for their day on the ServiceNow instance. These pages are tailored by user role and tasks, presenting only relevant information.
To modify or create landing pages for your users, you use UI Builder to select the relevant components and configure their data bindings.
Theming across Core UI
Core UI provides two paths for theming depending on whether Next Experience is enabled on your instance.
If Next Experience is enabled, you can leverage Theme Builder to apply a unique theme to your Core UI experience. Theme Builder lets you define the:
- Color palette: interface colors that represent your brand
- Logo
- Font family: change the globally applied fonts
- Shape: shapes of on-screen components
For instances where Next Experience is turned off, you can use system properties to define colors for the UI.
