The Employee Center footer provides a space for supplemental information and links like legal disclaimers, privacy policies, contact information, and links to relevant resources. It provides a consistent bottom-of-page experience, reinforcing the portal's structure and providing access to essential details.

Important

Unlike other widgets in the portal, you must add a footer to your portal by configuring it in the Theme form. For more information on adding a footer to a portal, see Add a header or footer to a portal.

Use when you need to provide essential company information like contact details (address, email, phone number), copyright notice, or links to important pages at the bottom of every employee portal page.

When not to use

Avoid using this footer if your portal prioritizes a clean, minimal aesthetic, or the primary navigation already offers comprehensive access to critical links.


Usage

The Employee Center footer widget is designed to be a static, persistent element at the bottom of every page within the Employee Center. It should be used to:

  • Provide global links: Include links to essential resources like privacy policies, terms of service, accessibility statements, and contact information.
  • Display copyright information: Clearly indicate the copyright and ownership of the portal.
  • Offer quick access: Facilitate quick access to important areas of the portal or external resources.

  1. Logo: Displays the organization's logo. Unlike the header, this does not link back to the Employee Center homepage.

  5. Bottom links: Links to legal documents such as Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or other relevant disclaimers.
