Usage
The Employee Center footer widget is designed to be a static, persistent element at the bottom of every page within the Employee Center. It should be used to:
- Provide global links: Include links to essential resources like privacy policies, terms of service, accessibility statements, and contact information.
- Display copyright information: Clearly indicate the copyright and ownership of the portal.
- Offer quick access: Facilitate quick access to important areas of the portal or external resources.
- Maintain consistency: Ensure a uniform footer experience across all pages for a cohesive user journey.
Anatomy
The Employee Center footer widget typically comprises the following components:
Responsive breakpoint — desktop

- Logo: Displays the organization's logo. Unlike the header, this does not link back to the Employee Center homepage.
- Organizational content: Information about the company
- Link groups (optional): Sections for grouping related links.
- Links: Individual hyperlinks to internal or external resources.
- Bottom links: Links to legal documents such as Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or other relevant disclaimers.
- Social icons/links: Icons linking to the organization's official social media profiles..
- Copyright information: Usually includes the copyright symbol ©, the year, and the name of the organization.

- Enter: Activates a selected header component (navigation item, search, profile option).
- Escape: Closes the user profile dropdown or search suggestions.
- Spacebar: Opens or closes the hamburger menu.
